Just for the record, the only problem I had when using the curses
library in Solaris 2.5.1 was that timeouts didn't work.

But that's just that release - Sun seems to like to hack around in their
curses lib; as some other thread indicated, in Solaris 2.6 it's
different and in Solaris 2.4 the lib was completely broken...
