 In general, everything compiled under 2.5.1 should work on 2.6
 and better. Binaries are not guaranteed to work on OS revisions
 older than the ones they were compiled on.

 A mutt binary compiled on 2.5.1 works fine here on Solaris 7.
 We have no more 2.6 machines here, so I can't test that.
