This works for me too. Thanks. It would have taken me a couple of
years to get this. 

I was thinking of a MAILBOXES[n] parameter with arithmetic
expansion. I think this was what I was using when I did it with
MH. But this wouldn't have worked any better I think. The value
of n would still have to be stored in a file, I think.
