Actually, the aforementioned statement is incorrect. xterm doesn't
send different escape sequences for Ctrl-Cursor keys, but some
terminal emulators do. (I know Eterm does. I believe rxvt and
friends do also. dtterm does not. Linux console does not.) So you
*can* "type such a key sequence." :-)
