Is there any way to debug mutt's reading of mime types, or dump what
mime types it knows?

I've been trying for an hour to get it to add one mime type, and the
result is always the same: "MIME type not defined. Cannot view attachment."
I've tried adding it to ~/.mime.types and /etc/mime.types. Both work for
Netscape. Neither work for mutt, and I haven't been able to coax any useful
information out of mutt about what it's doing.

I also noted that I can put garbage in either file and mutt doesn't complain,
or link .mime.types to something bogus so opening it would generate an error.
But still nothing. Is there any way to get mutt to report *any* errors? Is it
actually reading the files? Is there any way to tell?
