The program newsbody is a little utility to isolate the body part
of a news or email message and then call some other program which
may change the body, and eventually merge the headers with the
possibly changed body. Optionally quotes and/or signature can be
removed too, as well as all or selected header lines can be kept.

A typically use to spell check only new text but leave any quotes
as they are. There are examples of how newsbody can used with mutt
and ispell in newsbody's Readme file.

Version 0.1.2 fixes bugs which could give core dumps when reading
messages with very long header continuation lines or when reading
messages with signatures from a pipe. Users of previous versions
are encouraged to upgrade.

Newsbody is free (under GPL) and can be downloadet from
