It was just the majordomo server is *very* slow. As far as my C newbie knowledge lets me know :-) the only problem I see so far is what I added to the man page, there are functions predefined to use the typical emacs meta-key prefixed bindings; some of them won't work (only when you set the variable to "yes", of course, emacs users won't suffer). Anyway, if at some point you need some of those functions, you still can bind it to some other key. You, as user, decide what's priority for you, and what to resign to. Let me know if there is another side effect. Walter
