Has any recent work been done on adding Kyoto Cabinet support for mutt, since it looks like Tokyo Cabinet has been deprecated by its creators in favor of Kyoto Cabinet?
I see this patch from a while back: https://gist.github.com/aeroevan/9508433 though I assume it wouldn't apply to 1.6. I also remember seeing this ticket about LMDB support: https://dev.mutt.org/trac/ticket/3691 I am not up on what implementations are best, and it is true that it may not be ideal to support all of them, maybe we should do some kind of survey to see which db implementations people want?
