Does anyone else find the date in the User-Agent header string somewhat annoying?
I know it's trivial to patch to remove it (although harder for folks running vendor-supplied versions), but what about making it a configure option, or only including the date string for folks running a snapshot vs. an official numbered release? With official releases, the release date is not really so important anyway. w
