This was was discussed many (many!) years ago in one of those "get rid
of warnings" threads (based on a "feature freeze for 1.6" thread ;-)):

But it doesn't hurt revisiting such stuff every few years, on the way
to 1.6 (within the next 10 years, hopefully).
