#3460: view-attachments menu "view-attach" command uses auto_view for all text
attachments, even when a suitable interactive command is in the mailcap
file. This is particularly bad for text/html attachments.

Comment:

given that the mutt devs don't wont to fix this bug, can we please
document this better? It would be great to have a documentation update
addressing the issue, in particolar as a guy who reported the bug in
 Debian said:

 {{{

ooking through http://dev.mutt.org/trac/. This bug report explains the new
 behavior: http://dev.mutt.org/trac/ticket/3460 .

Just like it is explained there. Instead of pressing 'v', selecting
 text/html and
then pressing 'enter'. One now needs to press 'v', select text/html and
 then press
 'm'.

By just pressing 'enter' now, auto_view is used if set in your ~/.muttrc
 and
~/.mailcap or ~/.mutt/mailcap. By pressing 'm', you force it to use
 mailcap
setting, like viewing it in a browser.

I find that is fine, but does need to be documented somewhere. Hope this
 helps
others, wondering what 'enter' does now and 'm' is the new way, to use
 your
 mailcap entry.
