I can't find "edit-label", so I'm going to assume it's something you're proposing. Yeah, basically the flags are like labels, and it would be nice to use labels instead. However, I'm not sure what you're proposing works the same - with the "~yred" command, would you expect to be able to see just mailboxes that have red-labelled messages inside, or the actual messages themselves? (The outlook search folder will find just those messages; you can ask it to search in various places, including every folder. So you don't have to wade through other messages to find the ones you want.) -- Paul
