FWIW, while I agree with Paul's request, I also agree with Oswald's "state of the discussion" update. I think Derek might have been a bit out of line attacking me personally earlier (and I might have been out of line possibly attacking Derek personally earlier still), but this wouldn't be the first time we started a flame war on this list. That's why I strongly second Paul's request not to turn this into yet another flame war. (Derek, on the other hand, would be better served by diffusing the discussion into a flame war, since current Mutt behavior is closer to what he wants than to what I want, AFAICT.)
