I've taken to using ScoreCloud and then hand-typing the results in to a Frescobaldi window.
ScoreCloud only has Mac/Windows desktop clients, but it is a cloud platform and if you create an account (possibly requiring the Mac/Windows app), you can use this workflow even in Linux (for some use-cases). They have three service options, the cheapest is free. That's the one I use. It does good voice and MIDI to sheet music, but you need to pay for their "Pro" option to export it as MusicXML. This is why I just retype it. While their app heavily leverages the cloud, they were clearly focusing on desktop first, so you get more flexibility there. They list the web interface as "beta". The desktop client will happily take any random MIDI file and turn it in to sheet music. (Sheet music that does not require clean up.) It might not suit your use-case, but I thought I'd mention it. My own use-case is a little different than yours. (My own use-case centers more on turning voice in to LilyPond.)
