In general I think it is most interesting if for the sampling frequemcy approaching infinity, your solution approaches the (perfect) analog behavior. Ater that, you'll still have to worry that your perfect result will have to pass a DAC, and if that's a much lower than infinite frequency (1MS/s ?) converter, reconstruction errors are going to be audible.
