Hi Óscar,

Thanks for the suggestion but it doesn't work.
The symptoms are not the same as those that require winpty.
When I run gdb on emacs and I break into some function, it is the whole
desktop that
becomes unresponsive. I need to resort to task manager to kill gdb.
This is really weird.
