I used to employ a separate batch file that was similar to the official ones, but also changed the PATH. You can do that, or you can just edit the official batch files (but they'll be overwritten on the next update of the filesystem package). For the new launchers, you can add a PATH=... line into the .ini files. In the next release, there will be a new PATH line template (commented out by default).
