Anyway, you may have better luck with this one: https://github.com/git-for-windows/MINGW-packages/tree/master/mingw-w64-git The Git/Windows guys are making a move to using MSYS2 and there's a lot of activity there. I hope we can share the results of their work once an official release is done and make the mingw-w64-git package also available in vanilla MSYS2. -- David Macek
