There's native widls already:
$ pkgfile /mingw32/bin/widl.exe
mingw32/mingw-w64-i686-tools-git
$ pkgfile /mingw64/bin/widl.exe
mingw64/mingw-w64-x86_64-tools-git
.. so pacman -U mingw-w64-{i686,x86_64}-tools-git
Seems there's no msys2 one currently though.
Many times I answer directly to the people and not to the list... Sorry
for that. The widl from mingw-w64-*-tools is the correct tool what I
need. I only wondering me that for that tool not all *.idl files are in
the headers pack are include. When I download the source code from
mingw-w64 the files are in it. I talk specially from wtypes.idl,
wtypesbase.idl, unknwn.idl and unknwnbase.idl. The decklink sdk need
that ones.
widl is just a tool that processes Wine's IDL files. Why would it
include a specific set of input files? I don't know what decklink is.
Decklink is a video processing card from blackmagic, with that you have
SDI video in- and output. But this is not so important. This specific
input files comes from mingw-w64. they are in the source code and for
example in the mingw-w64-i686-headers-svn, but not in the new *-git
version.
What files do you mean?
In the source code file:
*mingw-w64-i686-headers-svn-4.0.0.6527-1.src.tar.gz* under include is a
bunch of *.idl files where a not included in the
*mingw32/i686-w64-mingw32/include* path, same with the 64 bit version.
The same files are also in the actual *mingw-w64-v3.3.0.tar.bz2 *source
code under *mingw-w64-v3.3.0/mingw-w64-headers/include*. Some *.idl
files we have, for example activation.idl, but the most others not.
