Isn't that the "standard" model, to separate the packages? This way, it
makes it possible to (some extent) upgrade the packages separately.

I like clang/llvm approach but at this point they aren't getting much
love directly from ARM while GCC is so I guess there isn't much of a
choice, right now.

Eheh, understood. I honestly just don't have the time to play with yet
another took, right now. I'm offering to share these PKGBUILDS because I
had to create them for my own use. Hopefully, they can be useful to
other people as well.
Just let me know whether you'd like me to proceed with the pull request.
