Hi All,
In the Lame MP3 Encoder code, i need a clarification on
the FilterBank output. Actually i checked the filter bank outputs. The
value range is very low, for example (-1 to 0 or 0 to 1). Are they
doing any normalization or scaling process on the input samples.
If they r doing any scaling operation, where exactly they
are doing that scaling operation??? and what advantage it will have on
the output???
It will be really helpful for me, if somebody explains this
in detail. Expecting some quick reply...
