yes, I did get the source...if I remember though, wasn't this encoding from
a wav file?  I can do that with no problems, but I need to be able to encode
an mp3 from multiple buffers of pcm data...or maybe I misunderstood...

Either way, I can tell that I'm going to need to brush up on 'C', so that I
can translate what is going on...
