I have several questions. I recently installed Netscape 6.1 after
downloading it from netscape's site. Installation went smoothly, but now
here it what I have to do to run it:

from the directory where it's installed I type ./netscape. &

Despite including the ampersand on the comand, when entered from the
/usr/local/netscape directory, I get a command box that pops up and
which then lists out all the commands and actions taken by Netscape 6.1.
When I get mail the box indicates this.

My question to this: Is this box always going to run when I have
netscape 6.1 running?

Also, why does 6.1 run so much s l o w e r than does
4.72? It's just a dog for performance, despite looking nicer, with
better graphics handling. I hate the font that it defaults to....making
all the letters harder to read, but the font is larger, which is an
improvement.

When composing an email in netscape mail 6.1, I am compelled to type
very slowly, as if the buffer can't handle fast typing. Is this supposed
to work this way, or do I have my installation of this all messed up?

My final question relates to importing addresses. Until recently I have
used Outlook Express in winders 98. I want badly to convert everything
over to linux use and drop windows completely. When I find the .cvs file
that I exported from Outlook Express, and try to import into the address
book in Netscape, nothing happens.

How do I get the addy book to import?
