well i am almost positive it was in the correct profile but still no
luck.  for what it is worth i tried what i origonally did with
netscape 4.7 messenger and it worked like a charm.  i even gave it
.txt extensions for the hell of it (i was curious) and it worked... oh
well.  mozilla *is* beta and *has* come a long way, i'll try it again
when 1.0+ comes out.  thanks anyway.
