I've had several problems with attachments in general in builds of the
last week or two.
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69525 is filed for
drag-n-drop problems, but I think it goes beyond this. I have the
occassional problem using the file picker, too. Today it was with a Word
doc. A few days ago it was with a zip file. It doesn't break
consistently, though, which doesn't help narrowing down the sequence of
events so I can file a proper bug on it.
