Thanks a lot for putting this up! I was really curious about this.

Unfortunately it doesn't work on my system, whenever I try to enter a
mail folder, nothing happens, and the following messages appear:

************************************************************
* Call to xpconnect wrapped JSObject produced this error: *
[Exception... "Could not convert JavaScript argument (NULL value can not
be used for a C++ reference type) arg 0 [nsIMsgDBView.QueryInterface]"
nsresult: "0x8057000b (NS_ERROR_XPC_BAD_CONVERT_JS_NULL_REF)"  location:
"JS frame :: chrome://messenger/content/commandglue.js :: RerootFolder
:: line 307"  data: no]
************************************************************

After trying to switch folders for a while, usually a segfault occurs.

But, apart from the non-working Mailnews, the entire browser feels a
little snappier than the 0.8 release. I this a wrong impression I have,
or have other parts of the browser also taken advantage of the speedup?

bye,
Tillmann
