I found a single Long-tailed Duck (female) on Vadnais Lake in Ramsey County
today. It was seen late morning and continued to be seen throughout the
afternoon until the snow started to come down, making conditions more
difficult for it to be found.

It was hanging with a group of Common Goldeneyes and was best viewed from
the first "overlook" south of the north parking lot, right off the paved
path. Viewing coordinates: 45.06116157420697, -93.09857417633224

I apologize for not getting the word out here sooner but with the snow
coming down, there's a good chance it will be there in the morning. Good
luck!
