The annual "Wildlife Festival" at Sherburne NWR has been deferred again this year. But there are two silver linings:
* Many of the gates that are normally closed will be open from 8 am to 3pm. This is miles and miles of back country gravel roads seldom seen by the public. LOTS of wild rice beds and still some water standing * The Eagle's Nest nature store will be open from 10am to 2pm for books, t-shirts, and educational materials.
