While fishing Big Stone Lake yesterday, I saw and heard three very vocal
Caspian terns doing their own fishing along the MN side of the lake. I did not
have my binos with, but it looked and sounded like two adults and a juvi.
Possibly more, but they were intermingling with several gulls. I was busy
catching fish, so I didn't keep a constant eye on them. They would've been
visible/heard from the boat landing area at Big Stone Lake State Park - Bonanza
Grove. No idea where they might be today or tomorrow, but it may be worth a
search in that area if anyone is interested.
