Unfortunately, we have had cowbirds in our backyard every summer for years. Same with grackles, who turned up a few days ago. No cowbirds yet, though - at least I haven't spotted any. On the other hand, we seem to have had fewer starlings in recent summers than previously. Knock wood. ;-)
