Yesterday’s extreme southerly winds spurred me to survey a roost.  It was 
difficult to get an accurate count with so much swirling about in the wind and 
in-and-out of the roost action.  I estimated there to be about 60, which is a 
normal number for the early returning days.

Yes, they are back!  I just saw one soaring over East River Road in Coon 
Rapids, near its Hwy 210 intersection.
