I see from ebird that reports of the Mississippi kites at Land of Memories Park in Mankato continue into today (Sept. 3). I'm posting this since the location of one I saw today was a little ways south of where other birds have been reported. At about 1:05 pm I observed one of the juveniles at the north end of Indian Lake in Mankato. This is on 202nd St, just east of Indian Lake Road. This bird is presumably one of the same individuals being seen at Land of Memories, but I was a little surprised to see it this far from the other sightings.
