If you are a fan of this marsh, know that it is once again a quiet place. This morning, only one small bulldozer was leveling off the ground under the power lines.
The usual residents were around - great blue heron, green heron, great egret, belted kingfisher, mallards, blackbirds, warblers and sparrows. Most of the swallows have left. The water level is high and there is little exposed mud. -- Claudia Egelhoff West Saint Paul, MN ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html During the pandemic, the MOU encourages you to stay safe, practice social distancing, and continue to bird responsibly.
