I was watching a pair of Tree Swallows today near Pickerel Lake and saw a flight behavior I hadn't seen before. It looked like two bird were in a synchronized flight and then free fell together for a few seconds before separating. Is this some type of territorial display or courting display. Just curious if anyone has seen anything like this before?
