There has been a partially-leucistic (mostly white, accept for a few tail 
feathers) red-tailed hawk living in the south metro for some years. I've seen 
it along Hwy 52 in Inver Grove Heights.

Today while northbound on 35E toward St. Paul, I spotted a large white bird 
circling on the west side. Too big for a seagull. Possibly snowy owl?
