Jymme Golden posted a picture of an apparent juvenile gray morph Gyrfalcon from 
the Hiawatha Golf Course in Minneapolis today. This was in the Facebook group 
“Minnesota Birding.” I say “probable“ because the photo may have overexposed 
some features that would be more consistent with a Prairie Falcon. But she says 
that it was similar in size to a Red-tailed Hawk, and several others feel that 
it is a Gyrfalcon. Either bird would be a wonderful rarity, so best of luck for 
those who try for it! Good birding,
