A female Barrow’s Goldeneye was spotted on Tuesday, January 28 and was seen on
Wednesday and yesterday as well. This is at the Trumpeter Swan viewing area on
the Mississippi River in Monticello. My phone is having difficulty copying and
pasting the checklist, so if you can’t view it, reply to me off-channel. Here’s
the report with a photo:

today as well. Bright orange over most of bill, darker brown head. Seen from
16:08 for less than 10 minutes, wasn't seen spending more than 10 seconds above
water - more often less than a second, and seen once around 16:20. Doc photos."

Good birding!
