Green <[email protected]> via moumn.org) Late this afternoon, Dec. 29th at dusk 4:30 pm, I spotted a Great Gray Owl hunting in a yard on the Homestead Rd. a few tenths of a mile north of the Korkki Rd. intersection. It was perched on a barn behind a fringe of trees and we watched it as it pounced on something and then flew low over the small barnyard. The day before, Dec. 28th, a friend reported a Snowy Owl somewhere near the Clover Valley Rd. and the Homestead Rd. area.
