While looking for the snowy owls we found a red-headed woodpecker along 14 north just south of 155th street in Benton County. Then in Morrison County we were surprised to find a pair of horned larks feeding along the side of the road (33) on this first day of winter. We also enjoyed two great gray owls along Aitkin county 18 where they have been reported. Sue Bergman & Barb McGregor New Hope
