We spent the day birding Sax-zim bog today and found the following species:

Boreal Owl (the bird on Cranberry Lane, about 1/4 mile north of Sax Rd on
the east side - many thanks to Peter Kondrashov for texting us the
location!)
Northern Shrike (On Hwy 133, just west of CR 7)
Black-billed Magpie (on Kolu Rd, near McDavitt)
A flock of about 55 Snow Buntings (on CR 7, just north of Sax Rd)
Pine Grosbeak (at the Blue Spruce Rd feeders)
Gray Jay (many scattered throughout)
Common Redpoll (at the Blue Spruce Rd feeders)

Bald Eagle
Downy Woodpecker
Hairy Woodpecker
Blue Jay
American Crow
Common Raven
Black-capped Chickadee
Red-breasted Nuthatch
European Starling
American Goldfinch

We tried hard for the Boreal Chickadees at the Admiral Rd feeders, but had
no luck. We also dipped on the Evening Grosbeaks at the Blue Spruce Rd
feeders.
