I had the good luck to find two new year birds for myself today. This
afternoon I went to the Great Western Industrial Park and did a short walk.
I found tracks in the snow that could have been Pheasant or Partridge. A
little further as I followed the tracks along a weedy berm 2 Gray Partridge
flushed. I walked to the area that they flew and a total of 6 Gray
Partridge were found.

The Red-shouldered Hawk was found north of Cannon Blvd and the RR track
just west of Cooper Ave. near the town of Randolph. It was perched in a
tree and gave me great binocular looks.
