Thanks to Jen Vieth's tip I knew enough to look among the many
White-throated and White-crowned sparrows for a Harris' Sparrow.  It
had been foraging between the Center's administration and old
Interpretive buildings. It's call, just slightly different from the
White-throat's, gave away its location; it was foraging under some
bushes on the north side of the administration building, before it
popped to the top of a bush in full view.
Also on the premises were a pair of E. Towhees, a pair of Brown
Thrashers, and dozens of Blue Jays.
