While looking for the male Barrow's that Bruce found, I noticed there was a second male Barrow's in the same flock. These are best viewed from Freedom Park in Prescott. Both were in WI waters, but when a train conveniently went by at least one of them moved into MN waters.
On another note, while several dozen birders scoured the Mississippi River between St. Paul and Hastings (or beyond?) for much of the day, no one refound the Ross's Gull.
