How long will you stay and attempt to find a target bird? Does it matter whether that bird is a life bird, year bird or just generally interesting?
I marvel at those who have the patience to spend long hours seeking and/or waiting for the bird to appear. There's a part of me that urges to hike another path, search another area, find another good bird.... Guess I would not be a good "Big Sit" candidate at this point in my life.
