Hello all, Found a prairie falcon at Hamden Slough NWR this morning around 9:30. The falcon was perched in dead tree near a large mudflat with a stream meandering through it. From the refuge HQ go east on CR 104 and follow it as the road curves to the north. As you crest the hill, the mudflat and dead trees are visible to the west.
I'm in Duluth now - had a pair of peregrine falcons along Skyline Parkway near Enger Park Golf Course. An American Kestrel in Clay Co. earlier this a.m. I'm at Hawk Ridge now hoping for a merlin for a four-bagger! Good Birding!
