Seven Cattle and 1 Snowy Egret were being seen as of 6:15 this evening just east of Waconia. Driving west on State Hwy 5, turn right at the Waconia Lakeside Ballroom. As the road approaches the lake, turn Right and go to the dead end. The egrets were feeding in the field to the right and in the marsh ahead. Caspian Terns, Lesser Yellowlegs and Bank Swallows all made appearances along with the more usual suspects.
