Went to Felton today an looked near the Rock Wren's Rock Pile for the Say's
Phoebe(s) from 11:20 until 1:45 or so without success. I also looked around
some of the other unused mining areas. Wish I could have started sooner. The
Wren
was singing sporadically with substantial energy. Heard what I thought was
the Northern Mockingbird but had no time to find it. Saw a W. Kingbird on the
way out plus the other usuals.
The White Faced Ibis at Osakis has evidently left (unless it moves around)
but a single Willet has moved in. The Albany sewage ponds had 150 or so
shorebirds, two Dunlin, two W. Phalaropes, but mostly yellowlegs, Least SP and
Semi-SP.
