Nov. 16, 2005 Lake Byllesby 9:30am I braved the blizzard conditions this morning and was rewarded with a single White-winged Scoter being thrashed about in the middle of Lake Byllesby. I saw only 3 Lesser Scaup and 30 Mallards on the lake. Two flocks of Tundra Swan flew over heading SE. A hunter I spoke with said he had 4 "oldsquaws-type" ducks fly by. He said they showed a lot white.
