Yesterday, we had an immature red-tailed hawk sitting atop our fly-through feeder in the front yard. He sat there for a half hour, watching squirrels frolic below the feeder. I kept hoping he'd thin out the squirrel population, but so far no action. He had visited a neighbor's tree (with crow escort) on Saturday. And was across the street in a tree this morning. I have photos of him on top of the feeder if you're interested.
