I showed up at 2:15PM today and the bird was not there. A large flock of Canada Geese took flight from Lake Nokomis and the Ross's Goose was among them. Suprisingly, the bird came to shore. I was waiting with my camera and got a couple of decent shots. The link is one of the better ones:
